GuestWe will be selling tickets to dance nights but we need the option on the form to put in their club membership number and if they don’t have a membership they can join in addition to buying the ticket.
So lets say the club membership is £3 to join and the tickets are £10 for the event. The customer then either puts in their membership number if they have already joined at a previous event and pays just the £10 for the ticket, or they join and pay both £3 to join and then £10 for the ticket. Hope that makes senseJuly 4, 2016 at 11:11 am #1135159Cliff
MemberHi Paul.
Event Tickets Plus is our paid add-on plugin that upgrades the functionality of our free Event Tickets plugin.
Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. The free plugin only enables free RSVP-type tickets.
You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.
Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.
Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. example.com/events/rogers-day-at-the-zoo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.
The order confirmation email will include a QR code that can be scanned to “check in” someone at the door at the time of the event. You can read more at Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.
Regarding membership-based pricing, your eCommerce shopping cart will display the correct price once they get that far in the purchasing process, but our plugin may only display the non-member / non-signed-in-user pricing at the time they add it to their cart.
For adding an additional item/product to the cart (like buying a membership), you might be able to do that via a code customization, but not natively as part of our plugins (because, again, they don’t themselves have any membership features built-in).
I hope this info helps.
Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
