    Hi

I would like to know if is it possible to have one “MAIN” wordpress site with Events Calendar for publishing and sell events, and then other “CLIENT” wordpress sites, using Events Calendar too, showing the content served from this MAIN website trough RSS (or other similar method) without need of importing.

In this way, any changes done in the MAIN server would be automatically shown in the calendar of CLIENT sites, which is mandatory for our project. Click over the event in the CLIENT site would link to the MAIN site event, to show the information and make the purchase.

I don’t know even if Events Calendar can export RSS, allowing filtering by categories or languages for example, to make some events available only for certain CHILD sites. I was searching in your help forums and i see some old links talking about this that seem broken.

Linked as an answer from your team in this post:

    Hi there,

Thanks for stopping by–happy to take a shot at answering your question here! 🙂 If you’d like to keep all or a number of events synced across a network of several related sites, you might wish to have a look at our Event Aggregator add-on for The Events Calendar. Event Aggregator is offered as an all-in-one importing tool for our plugin lineup, so it’s not quite an import-free solution in the manner you describe, but EA does allow for scheduled imports and supports up to 10 separate sites per license key! This means that you can create a “master” calendar using a service such as Google Calendar and set up scheduled imports across all of your sites so that events you create will be automatically posted to all of your sites at whatever interval you specify. It’s a great hands-off solution that we’re happy to recommend to users who need to quickly post identical events across a large network of sites.

The only caveat to this method is that all of your sites, main and client alike, will import identical versions of these events by default. If you need to add ticketing with Event Tickets Plus or link back from your client sites to the main site, you’ll need to make these edits manually–perhaps by having events imported and saved as drafts, then making any necessary changes before the events are posted.

I hope that helps to provide some ideas here! Thanks again for your interest, and don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Caroline.
Can EA Aggregator import RSS feed?
We have a SharePoint (Intranet) calendar with a public RSS feed.
    Thanks.

    Hi AJ,

Thanks for getting in touch! While Event Aggregator is unable to import event data from RSS feeds, you can export your SharePoint calendar data to a CSV file, which can be imported using the free version of The Events Calendar. This forum post provides some information on how you can export your SharePoint calendar into this format.

If you should have any other questions for us, would you please open a new thread in the appropriate forum so that we can assist you there? Doing this will ensure that we’re able to see all separate customer inquiries and respond to them as quickly as possible. Thanks so much for your cooperation–we appreciate it!

    Cheers, and happy importing!
