Calendar Widget resizing and "View Calendar" button

Hello,

We are working on creating a compartmentalized page design that requires the Calendar Widget always be full (we have it set to 3 events under the mini calendar widget). I’ve noticed that sometimes there aren’t as many defined events for the day below the mini calendar and reduces the height of the widget itself, so I’m wondering if there is a way for the calendar to grab the next closest event so that (granted there are future events) it will grab the next closest date to keep that are full at all times?

Also, I’m wondering if Events Calendar has any plans to add a “View Full Calendar” button within the Calendar widget that would reside below the listed events? I realize I can add another widget to achieve this, but it will come at the cost of doing a lot of restyling and would not be within the same div as the widget.

Let me try and help you with this.

Making the calendar widget to grab the next closest event like you say, will require some custom coding.

We are limited in the amount of support we can give for customizations like that. That said, we are always happy to help and at least point you in the right direction as best as we can. We also have a list of freelancers who we would happily recommend for this level of help.

Regarding the “View Full Calendar” button, I’m not aware of any plans to bring something like that in the future. Perhaps you could elaborate some more on this feature and post it as a new idea in our uservoice here > https://tribe.uservoice.com/

I think the view full calendar button could be added by customizing the calendar widget too.
