Larissa
ParticipantHello there!
I’ve just purchased the Event Calendar.
I have a new ‘Event’ page with the plugin should incorporate the calendar, but nothing shows.
I’m wondering if to have the calendar view working I need to buy the ‘Evento Calendar PRO’?
As I also bought the wooCommerce ticket and worked fine, but I can’t visualize my calendar. Also the event lists, as widget works properly.
I tried everything and nothing worked.
I was using the ‘Events Manager’ plugin but now it’s deactivated, as I thought it could had cause bugs having both together.
The page I’m trying to visualize the calendar (as I understand would work automatically as no shortcodes needed) is http://acervapaulista.com.br/eventos/
Thank you!

MemberHi Larissa, and welcome to the forums! I’m stoked you’ve made the switch to The Events Calendar and will help you get back on track here. 🙂
Do you currently have a published page called Eventos when you go to the Pages > All Pages (or Spanish equivalent) from the WordPress dashboard? If so, please delete it, or give it a different name and slug because it is conflicting with the page that The Events Calendar is trying to automatically create for you with the same title title and slug.
The Events Calendar creates its own page for you, so you don’t need to set one up in order for the events to work — try removing that other page completely and let’s see if that does the trick.
Cheers!

ParticipantHello Geoff.
Thank you. Yes, that was the problem, but look it now: http://acervapaulista.com.br/eventos/
It shows me like a regular text-line, not a calendar. Could be a conflict with my theme? I’m using X Theme Renew.
Thank you!
Kind regards,

MemberAwesome! I was hoping that would give us the calendar page. 🙂
Now I see what you mean with the formatting. It could be a conflict with the theme, or perhaps another installed plugin. Will you please follow these troubleshooting steps? That will help us find a conflict, if there is one.
Thanks and definitely keep me posted!

ParticipantHello Geoff.
I had done all and yes, there’s a conflict 🙁
I put everything back together as many people access it.
How I can discover where is happening this conflict?
Thank you so much!

MemberThanks for doing that!
Are you able to set up a test site? Maybe that would help us figure out where the conflict is coming from without disrupting your existing site. Some hosts allow you to install a fresh version of WordPress in a subdirectory of your current domain–if yours does that same, that would make it nice and easy.
Here are some tips if you are able to set that up:
- Don’t install anything except The Events Calendar WooCommerce and WooCommerce Tickets
- Please also stick to a default theme (like Twenty Fifteen)–again, there’s no need to install anything else just yet!
- Confirm that the formatting issue is gone
If the issue is there, please stop and send me a link so I can see it.
If the issue is gone in those conditions, then go ahead and install your X Theme Renew. Does the issue pop up? If so, stop right there and send me the link so I can see it from there.
If the issue is still gone, then repeat that same process, except for each plugin that is installed and active on the live site.
I’m hoping that this will help us identify exactly where the conflict is coming from. I’m not totally sure I can provide a solution from there, but it will at least point us in the direction for next steps.
Thanks for your help!
Geoff
