I’ve got a website that until recently isn’t showing the calendar. The site uses Genesis and I found that when I apply Twenty Fourteen, the calendar shows up. I also tried using just the standard Genesis theme without any plugins activated. The Events Calendar still doesn’t show up it shows 2 events, one test event that I created for later this month and some other generic event. This page which should show the calendar, but which shows a list of events acts incorrectly as well. When I click on an available event, it links to the calendar page. So it loops.
When I click to view an event from within the WP dashboard, I am able to see the event details. So I believe that works correctly.
This used to work when I originally built the website over 2 years ago. I was not involved with updating the website and now I don’t have a record of what was done on the site since I completed it.
If the calendar isn’t showing in the standard Genesis theme but it is in 2014, it seems there’s a conflict with Genesis though I’ve read in a post with Brian, that Genesis should play well with the Events Calendar. Perhaps I’m not doing something right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I also tried implementing all of the snippet code that Brian provided in this forum post: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/when-will-this-work-with-genesis/
But that code did not fix the problem.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
