Calendar list/week/day view problems

My calendar page is set to the following url:

I have it default to month view, and it seems to work well.

From there, if I switch to ‘list’ view using the calendar menu. It displays upcoming events as a list. But instead of starting with today as a date, the first few events displayed are from March 30th. Then it displays an event from March 16th, then from March 2nd, then from March 9th, then from March 16th, then from March 23rd. If I click on ‘Previous Events’, and then ‘Next Events’, I get the correct display with the events starting from March 16th.

Now if from the month view, I switch to the week view, it displays ‘Events for the week of March 6th’, but the calendar starts on March 12th (a Saturday?!), and some events from March 16th are missing. Again if I click on ‘Previous Events’, and then ‘Next Events’, everything is back in order.

Now if from the month view, I switch to the day view, the ‘Day Of’ is shown at 1970-01-01, but the calendar says ‘Events of March 11, 2016’. Yet the events displayed are from March 30th, and some from March 16th, and others from March 2nd, and March 9th. If I click on ‘Previous Day’, it does not change the day, ie it is still March 11, but the events displayed are correct, ie there are none.

In conclusion, switching views seem to produce incorrect results. But then using ajax requests seem to fix everything.

Any idea what could be wrong and how I can go about debugging the issue?

This definitely sounds like a strange issue to be having here. As an initial step, can you try following our Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t a conflict occurring here with an existing plugin or theme.

Let me know if following those steps gives us more information here.
