Hi, I have Calendar Pro and when I click the “July” link at the bottom to advance my month, the search bar at the top want to perform a search. I have attached a screenshot of what it looks like when I do that.

Here is the URL that resolves as well
    https://www.bgccc.org/calendar-events/2015-07/?tribe-bar-date=2015-07&tribe-bar-search=Search

I have not physically input anything to search for, but the calendar still thinks I am. This site is live so I unfortunately can’t revert to 2014 or turn off plugins.

My site URL is different from the one registered because I registered the development site, not the live site.

I have turned off the Search functionality to avoid this issue.

    Hey bgccc,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I apologize for the issues that you’re experiencing when using the plugin. It looks like the issue here is that the placeholder text is getting set as the value and then being submitted.

Unfortunately, without being able to follow the Testing for Conflicts procedures there isn’t a whole lot we can do in regards to support.

The most likely culprit in this case would be the theme. There is probably a section of javascript that is taking the placeholder text and setting it as the default value for the field.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you a direct answer but hopefully this will help to get you pointed in the right direction.

    Thanks!

    Hey bgccc,

No problem. I’m sorry I’m not able to give you a complete response based on the nature of the issue but hopefully this will help you to find the conflicting code and get it removed.

I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to open a new one.

    Thanks!
