ParticipantJavascript is not working on the Add Event page due to this error. Yes, I am running https. Staging environment does not run https and is working.
No, I can’t turn off all plugins or change the theme to 2014 as the site is too active; however I confirmed in staging that the issue is https, not plugin or theme conflicts.
I also used the SSL Insecure Content Fixer but no luck.

ParticipantHey Randall,
Sorry to hear this!
Are you the same person who made this other thread, just from a different account? → https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/bumpdown-is-not-a-function-2/
The language is very similar so I just wanted to check on this.
↑ This may seem like a trivial thing to ask, but it actually does matter here because I cannot recreate this bug, but if we have multiple different folks reporting this, then that’s huge evidence there’s a legitimate bug here.
I will continue to try to recreate this issue and see what we find.
Stay tuned!

ParticipantHey there,
One thing to check in the meantime:
If you head to Settings → General in your site’s wp-admin, are WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) settings using http:// or https:// ?
If they’re using http://, try specifying the https:// URLs there, save changes, and let us know if that helps at all!
Thanks,

ParticipantHi George,
That other ticket is not me, but it does look like they copied part of mine. Weird.
I reverted to the previous version and that solved the issue.
Strangely, my WordPress URL does not use https while the Site Address does. I’m on WPEngine, so those get set automatically from time to time.
I’ll try adding the “s” to the WordPress URL then upgrade again. Stay tuned.
Thanks,

ParticipantGeorge, that was good advice. After adding the “s” to the WordPress URL and upgrading the javascript errors went away. Thanks very much for your help!

You can learn more about the release on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-the-events-calendar-4-3-5-event-tickets-4-3-5-and-premium-plugins/
