GuestHi,
Before I purchase the event calendar and ticket pro plugins, I need to find out a couple of things.
1. I have a course that stretches over a few days, can I use your plugin for such an event?
2. In your demo I couldn’t find any events I needed t pay for to book so couldn’t test how they work. Can I do paid events using your system?
3. If I have 1 event happening on the same day but at different venues via video conferencing, can I sell various types of tickets on 1 event?
4. I need to keep track of all my bookings. Does the back-end offer a database of all my event participants?
5. If I have limited seats for an event, can I load it that way?
6. If a client books a certain event they get discount on a specific other event, Or if they book all of the events available they get a bundle discount, can I do that in your system?Thank you

MemberHi Marileen,
Great questions!
1. I have a course that stretches over a few days, can I use your plugin for such an event?
2. In your demo I couldn’t find any events I needed t pay for to book so couldn’t test how they work. Can I do paid events using your system? The answer to both of these is yes. Events can certainly stretch over multiple days and you can sell tickets for events using our Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus plugins together with The Events Calendar.
3. If I have 1 event happening on the same day but at different venues via video conferencing, can I sell various types of tickets on 1 event?
Yes, you definitely can. Event Tickets Plus (mentioned above) allows you to create any number of tickets and varieties of tickets as you would like for an event. Here is more information on the process of creating tickets to give you a better idea of what to expect.
4. I need to keep track of all my bookings. Does the back-end offer a database of all my event participants?
Absolutely! Once someone has registered for an event, you can access a report of attendees.
5. If I have limited seats for an event, can I load it that way?
Yes. If you leave the number of tickets blank, then that will be counted as an unlimited inventory of tickets.
6. If a client books a certain event they get discount on a specific other event, Or if they book all of the events available they get a bundle discount, can I do that in your system?
Not directly in our plugins, but if you’re using WooCommerce as your e-commerce plugin, then it offers some extensions that allow you to create coupons and bulk discounting for purchases. I haven’t tested those personally, but they do look promising.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know!
Cheers,

GuestThank you very much for the reply. I am testing it a little on the free versions but think we will get the client to buy the 2 plugins as it seems that they will work properly.
One last thing, does booking a ticket and having to pay for it then work with the woocommerce cart and check-out system? As the client demands to use a specific payment method that the Event Manager Pro plugin did not offer as an Add-on, so we had to code the gateway in everytime, which created countless issues with payments, re-directs, etc. Thus the reason we are testing alternatives that hopefulle work with the woocommerce checkout process as woocommerce integrates the specific payment gateway with no issues.

It sure does! In fact, that is exactly how selling tickets works in Event Tickets Plus. Once a ticket is created, it gets registered as a Product in WooCommerce and then WooCommerce handles the full payment process once the ticket has been added to the cart. Event Tickets Plus is merely the bridge between The Events Calendar and WooCommerce so that you can use tickets just like you would any other WooCommerce product. 🙂
It’s also worth noting that we offer a pretty nice refund policy — you can return any of the plugins within 30 days of purchase should they not meet your needs for any reason at all. That should give you a good chance to test drive the plugins and see if they work well with your site.
Cheers!
