ParticipantHello. At the bottom of the Calendar View, there’s two little blue dots on each side of the calendar which I cannot get rid of and it looks really bad. I’ve attached an image you can see the little dots at the bottom. Any way to get rid of these. There’s also one at the top as well.

MemberHi Shane
I am limited in my ability to help without a link to view your calendar live on your site. Do you have a way that I can bypass maintenance mode and a link to the exact events page?
Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/? I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict. Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.
Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates).
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Courtney!
Well…as it turns out, it was the theme causing the blue dots. Darn. Is there a list of themes that definitely work because I wanted a very simple, minimal clean theme.

MemberHi Shane
You can still override the theme setting with some CSS usually. This might be a simple process.
We test all our plugins against default WordPress themes (Twenty _______) and do work with quite a few other themes when we notice many users of the same type of theme (Such as Genesis, Avada, etc.).
When you are able to lift maintenance mode, we might be able to help get those dots off that page.
Thanks

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
