GuestHi, I’m wondering if the pro version has any other options for integrating events into my blog besides the Events Settings checkbox to include in the main blog loop?
I’m a newbie, but have been searching for months to find a solution. I’m using Divi, and want to use their blog module grid layout design. Events will show up in the fullwidth blog design, but not the grid.
I’ve activated the compatibility plugin, and also tried the Event Calendar shortcode plugin to put the events on a different page to no avail.
For now I don’t need most of the Pro features, but if purchasing can help solve this vital issue, it’d be worth it for me.
Thanks!July 8, 2018 at 11:54 pm #1570395Jennifer
KeymasterHi Nancy,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
In order to use the shortcodes, you would need to purchase Pro. It does not have any special integration with Divi, but you can use the shortcodes to add the events views into pages.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Pro for a test run to make sure that this will work the way that you need, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

GuestThanks Jennifer for your response and explanation. If I get the pro version, can the events be listed on a page in grid/mosaic format? And, where would I add the shortcodes?

KeymasterHi Nancy,
Pro does come with photo view, and you can really use the shortcodes wherever you would like! For full calendar views (which is what is rendered with the tribe_events shortcode), there can only be one per page. So you would not be able to add a shortcode on another event view or have two different tribe_events shortcodes on the same page. Otherwise, you should be able to add it anywhere else on your site that will accept shortcodes.
Let me know if you have any other questions!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
