GuestHi there,
I have a client who currently creates all of their events on Facebook and then manually creates a small info box on there websites ‘What’s On’ page. They hold 3-4 FREE events each week and around 10-15 paid events per year (but would increase this if the process was made easier). At the moment if a user wants to register for a paid event they have to contact the pub via email or phone and manually get tickets/give credit card details over the phone or they physically come into the pub and pay in cash?.I am hoping to streamline this process for them and I wondered what the best way for me to do this is. Is there a way if they create an event using this plugin that it can sync to their FB page? Or vice versa? And what would you suggest would be the best way to go about the paid events?
Thanks

MemberHey Julian
Thanks so much for reaching out! Our plugin, Event Aggregator , was designed to do exactly what you’re hunting for.
Sadly, I would recommend holding off purchasing. Facebook recently announced a range of changes (https://newsroom.fb.com/news/2018/04/restricting-data-access) to their APIs (the protocols we use to ‘speak’ to their servers and retrieve event information) which are having an effect on a number of our users.
As part of this, a number of new restrictions were applied to their Events API, which is the specific protocol Event Aggregator uses in order to import events, organizers, and venues.
Needless to say, we are just as stuck and frustrated as our clients on this issue. We will continue to keep you updated through our social channels, blog posts, newsletters, and on https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks
