    Hello,
I’m sorry, I do not speak English and I was almost blind – that’s why I difficult to looking for information. Please therefore you on advice.
I write a website for patients with multiple sclerosis (I also have this disease). All work on the Web site itself and all I create itself and subsidizes the low disability pension. Therefore, I use mostly free plugins.
Currently, I use my calendar plugin, but I’m not satisfied. Your plugin looks much better (really great). I would like to used it for “my folks.” PRO version for me is very expensive (price in our currency approximately 2,000 CZK, for an idea – my 5,000 CZK pension, tenancy 7,000 CZK … – so very hard to save a it), but I try to to offer people the best.
I just need to know if the plugin able to the following:
    – Setting the categories of events plus their colors and icons
    – Setting up of information about special access event (handicap access, Braille, etc.)
    – Setting Calendar Widget
    – Functional for WPMU?

Thank you very much in advance for your advice.

Have a nice day 🙂 Vendulka

    Hey Vendulka!

Thanks for reaching out here, I will address each of your questions in order:

    – Setting the categories of events plus their colors and icons

Yes, you can set categories of events, but by default there is not a way to set colors or icons from inside the plugin or any admin screen; you would have to write custom CSS code to modify calendar colors or add icons and such. We are not able to help with that sort of customization, so you’d have to write that custom CSS yourself or hire another third-party developer to help.

    – Setting up of information about special access event (handicap access, Braille, etc.)

Yes – if you mean that you want to be able to add literal blocks of text information that describe “handicap access, Braille, etc.”, then you can write the content in a number of ways for events.

    – Setting Calendar Widget

I’m not quite sure what this means, but yes in general The Events Calendar and its add-ons provide a number of widgets. Check out this knowledgebase article for more information about these widgets → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/events-calendar-widgets/

    – Functional for WPMU?

Yes, The Events Calendar and its add-ons should work fine on WordPress Multisite installations. It’s recommended to do individual sub-site activations of the plugins.

    I hope this all helps!

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hello,
Thank you for your response. As far as I understand correctly, thus:

    – Setting the categories of events plus their colors and icons

Here I must create CSS, is neither in the free version, nor in the PRO version

    – Setting up of information about special access event (handicap access, Braille, etc.)

These are the parts / blocks that exist in free version?

    – Setting Calendar Widget

I understand a good thing that the mini-calendar for widget can be set only in the PRO version?

    – Functional for WPMU?

Functioning like this also a free version or a only for the version PRO?

I have to wonder. I appreciate the work of all who participated in the development of the plugin. Unfortunately I can not pay for every year of the PRO version, it is too expensive for me. So I know what will not be possible without the PRO version.
Thank you very much and have a nice day

    Hey Vendulka,

Your summaries are indeed quite accurate. I’m sorry to see this:

Unfortunately I can not pay for every year of the PRO version, it is too expensive for me. So I know what will not be possible without the PRO version.

However, I totally understand your perspective and wish you the best of luck with your project regardless!

    Sincerely,
    George
