    Hello,

We are moving to a multi-site WordPress install. We want to be able to cross populate events across all three sites. However, we don’t want ALL events to automatically import. For example let’s say we have site 1 and site 2. Site 2 has 5 events on the calendar and we want 2 of those 5 to also appear on site 1. Is it possible for us to flag those 2 events in some way and have them upload to site 1 in the automatic upload without all 5 events appearing on site 1?

Basically we want to be able to pick and choose which events go to the other site’s calendars. Also, when the aggregator says 10 sites, does that mean 10 sites can have the plugin or you can pull from 10 sites into the one site with aggregator installed?

    Thanks!

    Hi Madeline,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

With Event Aggregator, you can choose whether to do a one-time import or a scheduled import.  This means that you can choose to import events one time or have your calendar automatically imported on a schedule.

It isn’t really possible to “flag” an event to import on both sites, but when you preview events before importing, you can select which ones you’d like to import.  This sounds like it will get you the results that you are looking for.

With a license for 10 sites, it means that 10 sites can have the plugin installed.  Here is more information on licenses for multisites:

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

So just to clarify – there’s no way to flag individual events when I’m creating them to be imported automatically. Instead, we’d have to manually import and in that process could select which events to import. Automatic importing on a schedule is an all or nothing deal.

Please confirm I’ve got this all correct. Thanks!

    Hi Madeline,

Yes, you are correct.  In general, the only time where you can choose which events to import is when you are viewing the preview on your site before importing.  There is some variation depending on the source that you are importing from, and these variations are set by the source itself.

Please let me know if you need any further clarification!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
