Automate Email of Attendee List Report

I’ve been looking for a way to automate the emailing of the attendee list.

I can do that manually, but I want to automate that process because we will need the report daily. The event processors are required to have editor level security to get the event data. We don’t want that level of access and want to find another option for getting the data to the right people.

If you can provide the SQL code behind the “email” button, I can automate the report myself.

Any suggestions/advice is welcomed.

This essentially looks like a custom development task and so is outside of our stated scope of support.

With that being said, we’d love to help point you in the right direction.

I would search for an automated SQL report system that offers email capability. I found something here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/exports-and-reports/ where you can define what to export from your database and create a cron job to run the report at specific times, however, doesn’t appear to have an email option. Also, be aware this is a third-party plugin not supported by us and I have never used it so use at your own risk.

We do need to prioritize support requests from other customers at this time but I’ll certainly flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so.  Please let us know if you’d like to go this route so that you can be added to this queue.

In the meantime, if there is any more information you can share (including mock-ups) that will help us to better understand what you are seeking please do feel free to add them to this ticket.

If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.

Thanks Brendan for the plugin link. This is one that I was already looking at so, I am heading in the right direction. With that said, I was really just asking if you could share the SQL code for the email button on the “View Attendees” on the event page?

Unfortunately, we do not have a SQL query to provide for this. Here again, you might want to consider hiring somebody that is good with SQL queries.
