Is there a way to add code that will auto remove passed events from showing up in the Woo Commerce store? The actual Event Ticket Plus app removes passed events from the Event Calendar but they are still showing up in the Woo Commerce store.

Good evening Rachel and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Is there a way to add code that will auto remove passed events from showing up in the Woo Commerce store?

By default, the product ticket visibility is set to hidden, so in theory it should not show up in your Woo Commerce store (https://integrativewellnessacademy.com/shop/). Unless you are talking about a different page ?

Unless you are interested in removing the ticket products completely from WooCommerce once the event is passed ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Yes, the individual items are auto hidden in our store list, but we have then pulled the hidden ticket listings under a group name in our store so they appear as location options. We have an event that takes place in different locations and so the tickets are pulled into WooCommerce as location options under the main header. Here is a link in our store.

We want to keep this setup in our store, but have it auto remove the locations once that event has passed. Is there a way to do this automatically or will we need to delete them from the store completely once the event has passed?

    Good afternoon Rachel,

    Thank you for the clarifications.

So basically, you would need the WooCommerce ticket products to “expire” after a certain date with the setup that you have.

I don’t know of a way to do that completely automatically, but you might want to hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

Other than that, there are a couple of semi-manual ways to make a product expire. Check out the following links:

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!
