Auto Facebook import not working

Not sure why my previous ticket was closed when I went to update a response but it was. I have done everything asked with no issue. I have no logging errors I can find too. I really need one of two solutions:
1) auto import to work
2) option to manually trigger import without logging into wordpress so my team can enter events in Facebook and they can go tot he website, the wp-cron.php is not triggering it.

I spoke to my isp and they say they should nto be blocking anything too.

Quick update. I installed Cron manager and did not see the FB import cron in the list of scheduled crons. SO I went back to the facebook settings and changed it to weekly then it appeared. I then changed it back to hourly and it was there. I manually executed the cron from the cron manager and it worked. Perhaps this is essentially the same thing as the manual import but without seeing the options of what events to select. I am not sure.

So now I created a new event in facebook and will see what happens. WIll keep you apprised, but again I did not see the tribe_fb_auto_import cron in the lsit originally only the tribe-recurrence-cron in the list until I changed the settings as described above.

Further update:
After installing the cron manager I did attempt to set up the running of the cron listed as tribe_fb_auto_import set at a time frame of 5 minutes and left the hourly on too. Neither automatically ran. however from the cron manager I could manually execute and it imported. I then deleted the event in my events and looked at the importer it returned to the list as if it was not previously imported. So then I ran the domainname/wp-cron.php (with onscreen reporting turned on) I could see it attempted to run my postie cron and then this cron and it imported.

So we can manually execute the import through multiple ways. However the timed or automated is not kicking off.

We didn’t close the other topic – it’s still open – so I’m not sure why you hit difficulties, there (though it’s possible our forum software’s “throttling” kicked in owing to the large number of posts that were made in succession, or something of that nature).
