Attendees from Facebook tracking

    Hello,

    We are looking for a way to import Facebook events into WordPress with attendees and be able to track attendance for each of them.

    I saw a few plugins that import events, but none of them imports them with attendees. I’m not sure what it takes to do that, could you consider that feature for your plugin or as an additional plugin customization?

    Hi Lera,

    Good question. Our Facebook Events plugin does import events from Facebook into WordPress, but I’m afraid not attendees. I’m also not sure what that would take to accomplish or whether the Facebook API even allows it, but it is certainly worth considering as a future feature. In fact, there is an open request for this in our feature request forum if you would like to add your vote.

    Hello Geoff,

    Thanks for the answer. I already voted for that. Having searched for a while already, I heard that it’s possible. Actually, I know people who saw it once developed for a private organization. But I guess, we shouldn’t expect it soon, considering the status of the request?

    Would you consider developing such a feature as an additional customization?

    Hi Lera,

    Yeah, checking our internal roadmap, I do not see that feature being actively worked on at the moment so I would say it is not expected in the near future. Still, it is being considered and your vote for the feature does help to make sure it stays on our radar.

    We do have a list of freelancers available if you are interested in hiring someone to help with that level of customization. Thought I would toss that out there in case that’s something you would be interested in trying.
