Amy
ParticipantHi there using ticket plus and wondering how an attendee managed to bypass a required attendee info that I requested. It’s possible they she reserved 2 spots because there were consecutive tickets in her name but I have no way of knowing.
Is this a glitch? I’m missing important rsvp info from them here. Thanks!

We are sorry to hear about an attendee bypassing required information.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ? (following the instructions found in the link)
Could you also give the URL to the event in question so that I can run some tests ?
Have a good week-end,

MemberOne other thing, if the event is already fully booked, please send a screenshot link to your RSVP settings for that event.

MemberHey Amy,
Thank you for providing the additional information I requested.
This allowed me to run a bunch of tests.
When the extra info fields are indeed set to “required”, there is no way to bypass the extra information fields. So the good news is that there is no glitch with the plugin per se.But the bad news is that what can be done is to input a “blank space” in each of these fields. I have a gut feeling this is what this user did (if you get a chance to ask the question, I would like to know if that’s the case out of curiosity).
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Is there anything else I can help you with on this topic today ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Thanks so much for replying! That’s good to know!
Something happened, now the RSVP box isn’t even appearing anymore on my event page. Can you tell me why that happened? It was unfortunate because I tried to add a ticket for a last minute guest and couldn’t do it because the RSVP part went away 🙁Thanks do let me know if it was a setting I changed…

MemberHey Amy,
That’s not good (the missing RSVP box). If I understand correctly, you are not even seeing the option to add the RSVP ticket, can you confirm ?
The only thing I can think of is that somehow the Events Tickets plugin got deactivated (which means you should reactivate it). Could you look that up and tell me what you find ?
If you are unsuccessful with that, could you send me your latest system information in a private reply ? (following the instructions found in the link)
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantGeoff, not sure what you mean by option to add rsvp ticket?
On the Event editor page, I do see the ticket that I created and all, but it doesn’t show up on the page itself…it was before then it disappeared.
It didn’t get deactivated:(

MemberHello Amy,
Thank you for your reply and for sharing the latest system information.
I am sorry if I created more confusion. This certainly was not my intention. So to clarify. You said that the RSVP option was gone from your event (which I was able to see for myself).
My questions should have been:- Is it only gone from the website’s page or also from the Edit Event page (in the Tickets section)?
- My follow-up question should have been, in the Edit Event page, even if the RSVP ticket is gone, do you still have the possibility to add an RSVP ticket ? If so, does it work properly if you add a new one ?
Thank you for your patience as we are trying to sort things out.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Yes the tickets section is still there in Edit Event, but NOT on the page itself.
And when I add a new ticket, it DOES work. Thanks!

MemberGood evening Amy,
Would you mind sharing a screenshot link to that specific’s edit event screen ?
One thing to keep in mind is that the tickets do disappear when the event is passed or the defined ticket sale period is over.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
