GuestHi,
Refering to this question I already asked: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-vs-tickets-plus/#post-1457763
I have some additional questions. Is there a possibility to:
– register attendees as administrator? (so do it ‘for’ them)
– have a preview mail, if the administrator wants to check if the attendee is appropriate for this event or not.
– send out a confirmation mail to the attendee? (Once while registering for the event and once a few days before the event)Thanks a bunch for the help!
Kind regards

MemberHi again, Gregory.
1)
https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-switching/ (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us) can be a good way to accomplish this so it’s attached to their account
2)
I do not understand this use case. Please explain in greater detail.
3)
A ticket email does send upon purchasing but a reminder email is not part of our solution currently.
I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/8391186-reminder-emails-for-x-days-before-event
Please do add your vote there.
This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.
Last but not least, we have Bundles and a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

GuestThanks Cliff for the aid! The second case was indeed not properly formulated, my apologies.
The question was actually: if somebody wants to register for the event, can it be a ‘tentative’ registration. Only after the administration confirms you can attend the event, you’ll be fully registered.
I hope this makes a little more sense :-).

GuestHi Cliff,
In addition to the question above, also the first question remains a little: if company X wants to register for the event but they’re calling me (my client) on the phone to say they’re coming. Is there a possibility to register them for the event? (I don’t have their login data)

The User Switching plugin makes it so you don’t need their credentials to “sign in” as them (switch to them). You would do so and then go through the purchase process, same as they would themselves.
Like I said before, this is a workaround and not functionality we provide natively or provide support for.
2)
If you’re using WooCommerce, for example, the ticket order would go into Processing status. Once you change it to Complete status, the ticket email would send. So, in essence due to how payments are handled, yes this functionality can exist.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
