Alexandre
ParticipantHi,
I’m trying to implement research by location on my website. You can see an example here : http://cine-loges.fr/programmation/liste/
I saw on this forum that there is a problem with Google map API key. So I created my own Google Maps JavaScript API key and I added it to my website. Thus, it’s working on events page : http://cine-loges.fr/evenement/un-homme-a-la-hauteur/ but not working on research page.
Inspecting my page’s code, I can see this alert : “Google Maps API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys”
Could you help me ?
Thanks for your answer !

KeymasterHi Alexandre,
Thanks for using The Events Calendar! I’m sorry you encountered a problem.
For clarification, the problem is that if you search on a location on the search page, it doesn’t give you a result?
Does this also happen if you switch to a basic theme (twentyfifteen or twentysixteen) and you swith off all plugins (except for the Modern Tribe ones)?
Here’s a detailed guide to test for plugin conflicts.
And I would also like to ask to share your system info, we also have a guide for that. 🙂
Thanks and cheers,
AndrasPS: Cool theme you are using by the way. Congrats to the beautiful site!

ParticipantHi,
Thanks for your answer.
Exactly, if I search a location on the search page, it doesn’t give me any results. For example, you can do a test with cities like “Strasbourg”.The search returns no results whereas events are created in these cities. By the way, is the search based on cities added on events in backoffice ?
I’ve tried to desactivate all plugins and the theme and it does not change anything.
Then, I created my own Google Maps JavaScript API key. Thanks to that, I could reuse maps on events but the search by location on the search page, still does not give me any results.

KeymasterHi again Alexandre,
I just did a test now on your site with Strasbourg. Indeed right on the page there will be nothing listed, becasue that page is supposed to show only upcoming events.
However, the link “Évènements prĂ©cĂ©dents” appears, and if you click on that you will see all your past Strasbourg events.
Give it a test and please confirm back to me if this is what you get as well.
Cheers,
