I also am having the same issue as this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/please-verify-your-api-key-is-correctly-entered-on-the-settings-page/
I tried generating a new key, and typing it in case sensitive as well as saving. I tried rebooting the phone, etc. And after scanning a QR code from a ticket after I purchased, I get the Please Verify API Key is Correctly Entered on the Settings Page.
We are wondering what we can do to resolve this problem since we paid for the pro version and our client is eager to get this working.

I’m sorry for the somewhat longer waiting time. We are experiencing a higher than normal load in our help desk. We are working to make sure that everyone gets an answer as soon as possible.
Sorry to hear about the QR code app issue.
I am going to check in with our developers about this issue. It does look like you’ve tried our previous suggestions.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂September 28, 2018 at 7:37 am #1633131CourtneyMemberHey Chris
Unfortunately, this looks like a bug and I’ve submitted it for our developers to address.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks

I understand that the issue was reported to the developers and that you don’t know an ETA, but my clients are asking me for an update regarding this issue. We are currently looking at other QR apps, but they seem like they might cause extra work on mobile and having to open to a third-party browser.

The bug ticket is still in process but does not have a due date assigned to it. Until then, do feel free to use any QR code scanning app. Check out the steps in the “Summing Up” section: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-qr-codes-event-tickets-plus/#summing_up
Thanks

This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
The Events Calendar Support TeamApril 1, 2019 at 11:46 am #1752201JeremyKeymasterHi there!
Just wanted to share with you that we’ve released an update. Find out more about it → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-of-1-april-2019/
We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience while we worked on this.
If this doesn’t resolve your issue, please see the following article: https://support.theeventscalendar.com/483229-REST-API-Check-in-for-Event-Tickets-Plus-App-
In some instances, the webhost settings prevent use of the ET+ QR Code App. The article will provide you with further details on what to ask your host, as well as a more thorough explanation.Cheers,
