Any Update of Facebook Import?

Is there any update on Facebook API? I was building a great website when I could auto import events from Facebook. If I can\’t pull events from Facebook, what other options do I have. I let my license key expire considering I paid to have the pro features for this plugin but without the ability to import from other event sites, I don\’t see any value.

Please assist because I would love to make this work. Thank you.

Thanks so much for reaching out!

We have received notice that FB reviewed our initial request for use of the events API. Even if we do get through approval, we have absolutely no idea what data this is going to give us access to. They have not progressed further with our requests. This is frustrating for all of use for sure.

As Facebook continues to alter what it allows us to access, we will continue to pursue a path forward for Event Aggregator to import Facebook events.  We will continue to keep https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/ea-fb-privacy-policy and https://theeventscalendar.com/event-aggregator-status/ updated as this unfolds.
