GuestJust wondering if there are any special rates for non-profit organizations?
I would like to be able to use the event tickets plus addon for an every day event to buy tickets to an attraction in my town, so it never ends. It’s always the same event, an Aquatarium Admission. We want to sell e-tickets online through our wordpress site using woocommerce. I would need to be able to create a ticket for adult, child, senior etc. There is no shipping as it just emails an e-ticket, but I would like to be able to add a “convenience fee” to every ticket purchased, and have it show that broken down in the cart. Does this sound like something that this plugin can do? Do I also need the calendar pro plugin to use this?July 7, 2016 at 12:55 pm #1136830Caroline
MemberHi there!
Thanks for getting in touch! We are happy to offer a nonprofit partnership program to provide free and/or discounted licenses of Events Calendar PRO to qualifying organizations–you can read more about our program and find our application link on our Knowledgebase here.
For the creating and selling of event tickets through WooCommerce, Event Tickets Plus will get you where you need to go! This plugin works alongside The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO and handles the creation and display of tickets on the front end, while all payment processing and order management is routed through WooCommerce or another e-commerce platform of your choice. As such, you’ll get the convenience of a solution that works great with your existing events and calendars, and any features such as “convenience fees” or other additional charges that are supported by WooCommerce should still work just fine.
Does that help to answer your questions? Let me know if there’s anything else we can do to assist! 🙂 Thanks again for your interest!

GuestHi Caroline,
That’s great that you provide this! Just wondering if that’s only for the calendar pro plugin only, or if it’s also for the tickets plus plugin? We want to be able to sell 4 types of tickets, and don’t really need the calendar part of it as much, as it won’t show as a calendar because it’s always the same event every day..it’s just access to the attraction. Do I need the event pro plugin to be able to use the tickets plus plugin? I will be using woocommerce to create the tickets as products.

MemberOf course! We’re happy to consider cases such as yours for licenses other than Events Calendar PRO, so I’d encourage you to apply and include as much specific detail as possible. Our nonprofit program coordinator will take all factors into account when reviewing your organization and will be glad to grant the appropriate product discounts, should you qualify. 🙂
And to answer your other question, you can absolutely use Event Tickets independent from The Events Calendar–our Knowledgebase article on configuring Event Tickets/Event Tickets Plus illustrates how to specify what types of posts tickets can be added to. From there, it’s as easy as adding the tickets from the edit page for the appropriate post(s)!
Thanks again for following up, and let me know if there’s anything else I can assist you with!

ParticipantHello again,
We have been accepted as a non-profit organization for Events Calendar Pro. We are licensed and activated. We would now like to be able to have event tickets plus, but the coupon code we were given for calendar pro can’t be used for tickets plus. How would we go about getting a new coupon code?
