The problem started prior to the change from DST to Standard Time, but only impacts events after the switch back to Standard Time.

I have a site where one recurring event is displaying the times on the frontend, one hour later than the times that the event has saved (correctly) in the backend.

Oddly enough, other recurring events are fine. All were made prior to DST kicking in, and the only difference I can see between this particular event and others is that it runs from a time in the AM to a time in the PM (11:30am-1pm).

I’ve made sure all the Modern Tribe plugins are up to date, and I tried deleting the event and recreating it, and the problem persists. I’m at a loss here.

FYI, trashing the event and creating a new one starting today “fixed” the issue. We lost all past events, which is a shame, but not a disaster.

OK. So, we actually had two other events suffering from the same bug. And both of those events also spanned from am-pm. So, I’m guessing that’s where the issue is. I recreated each event with a start date after Standard Time, and they display the correct time now.

So, time change + event spanning am/pm divide seems to be causing the problem, at least on our site.

    Hi James,

Thanks for reaching out and for providing us with all of that information!

It sounds like you have found a way to make things work on your site, at least for now.  If you are still experiencing issues on your site, I would recommend starting off by going through our testing for conflicts procedure.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
