Alowing CSV Import for Editor User Role

I’ve read that only admins can import here.

So I was then reading this about adding permissions and roles, but I don’t notice any role we can add (after installing Members Plugin) that mentions importing with csv.

I’m familiar with User Role Editor and Adminimize plugins but don’t see a permission/role that will allow CSV import by anyone but an admin.

Can you enlighten me please how I can implement this.

Hey @pylon,

That’s a great question!

It looks like we did not pursue the option to allow imports by non-admins because we were trying to follow WordPress’s own guidelines which only allow admins to import data.

That said, it would be great if you could add that to our feature request forum–that will allow others to vote on the idea as well and put it on the radar for looking into further.

Sorry I don’t have a concrete solution for you here, but does this at least help answer your question? Please let me know.

Well, it answers my question but doesn’t help much at all.

My only alternative is to make the client an quasi-administrator (using Adminimize and User role editor).

Have added to feature requests.
