Hi there.
Im using the Community Events plugin to allow users to add an event to my site, Once an event has been added and Published by an Editor, the default status in the users “My Events” page is Published, so its therfor no longer editable. Is it possible to allow a user to edit an event after it has been published, which would then put it back into the Pending Review status?
Lee,
Thanks for reaching out with your question. Unfortunately this functionality isn’t supported. I’ll definitely pass the idea onto our developers as a possible feature for a future release. Just let me know if you have other questions. Thanks!
Casey, I have Community Events installed with the ability for anyone to post an event. However, I need the anonymous user to be able to edit their event as well. – To do this, they need to create a ‘subscriber’ account… similar to your demo. How do I set this up? Also, is there a way to set up a ‘search’ page so people can search by state, etc?
Jamie,
Thanks for getting in touch! In order to allow people to register on your site, you just need to enable registrations. To do this, go to your WordPress Settings->General and check ‘Anyone can register.’ Make sure the user default role is set to Subscriber: http://d.pr/i/Avno.
Regarding your second question, would you mind posting that in the EC Pro forum? One of our EC Pro support team members can help you out with that question.
