ParticipantWe have events calendar pro. Our problem is that all our events are 1 hour early. We have check the WP time setting (correct for our time zone), and set the general setting to use local time zones.
In a specific series we have set the time correctly and shows the correct time zone, yet on the calendar it appears one hour early.
Any solutions?

MemberGood evening Murray and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the undesired timezone shift.
I would love to help you with this topic.I went ahead and did the following:
- Set my WordPress timezone to Boise
- Set my the Events Calendar timezone setting to Use local timezone for each event
- Created the event with the exact same details as provided in the screenshot
Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce the issue as the tooltip showed the correct time.
There could be a couple of reasons for this:
- A WordPress theme or plugin conflict
- A server related timezone issue
1. Could you also please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
2. Could you try temporarily reverting to a UTC based value instead of Boise to see if that changes the result ?
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantI change the UTC value to -6 for Boise (MST), but still shows the 1 hour offset when displaying event on the calendar page.
The hosting company is Hostgator on shared service. I’ll look at the control panel … is there a minimum version of PHP that we need to be using?
Thanks.
Murray.

ParticipantIt was the php server time. It was set to Central and not Mountain. And your app gets the date not from WP setting, but the php server. Thanks.
