ParticipantAfter I installed the latest update, all of my All Day events (95% of my events) show a start time of 12pm. The All day event checkbox is still ticked in their setup. Please help – it is confusing my users big time!

ParticipantWhen I use Filter Bar to filter events, the 12pm’s disappear off my All Day events. When I refresh the page though, they all come back.

MemberHi Jo!
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
I’m sorry to hear you are having that issue. Let me help you with the troubleshooting so we can hopefully find the source of it.
As a first step, so it does not confuse your users, I’d recommend you roll back to the previous versions of our plugins, where things were working fine. We have a guide on how you can do that > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out and make all plugins, theme and WordPress core updates, so you don’t disrupt the live site.
We also encourage to make a full backup of your site, both database and files so in case something goes wrong you can always restore your site.
Having a closer inspection to your site, I can see there is a console error in month view, were you are having the issue. This seems like there could be a conflict with your theme, another plugin or even some custom code. To make sure we are not dealing with a conflict, please go through the steps outlined in our Testing for Conflicts guide and see if you can reproduce the same issue under default conditions.
Please let me know how it goes.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Victor, thanks for getting back to me. I’ve been trying to trouble shoot this. I’ve isolated the problem to my month view template and updated it so I could get rid of the 12pm. It is still a little buggy however. I lose the start time for all events, even those not all day. Also, the Filter bar doesn’t seem to display, also the filtering of events in the back-end by way of description doesn’t seem to work either. Do you have any hints where I start to look for an answer? Also do you have any updates on when a fix for month view on mobile not working? Console is not showing errors anymore – Thanks

MemberHi Jo,
Thanks for following up with this.
It’s good you could narrow down the problem to the month view template. Just to confirm, does removing the month template override fix the issue?
If it doesn’t, did you happen to notice a difference when deactivating all other plugins or switching to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Seventeen? What happens if you try deactivating all plugins and switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme together? Do you notice a difference then?
If you see no difference in those conditions, then we’ll need to do some deeper troubleshooting.
Also do you have any updates on when a fix for month view on mobile not working?
I’m not sure what issue you are referring to. Are you experiencing an issue with your mobile view of the events? Please let me know more about this.
Thanks,
