    Going from version to 4.4.29.2 to 4.4.30.1
    After update of Event Calendar Pro we go from
    [tribe_events view=”photo “] showing this: tecpbefore.png

    To
    [tribe_events view=”photo “] showing this: tecpafter.png

    Please fix or specify a way to roll back.

    Thank you!

    Hi Signe,

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    I’m not quite sure why what you are seeing changed, and I cannot replicate the issue that you are describing.

    As a first troubleshooting step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes.  You will want to clear your browser and site cache as well after doing this.

    In the meantime, I’d recommend taking a look at your stylesheets and page templates and see if altering these settings helps you to achieve the results that you are looking for:

    If you are interested in rolling back, you can do so from your Downloads page and use the Manual Updates process:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/

    Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Jamie,

    Thank you for the reply I tried the reset permalinks setting without succes.

    I played around a bit for other reasons and stumbled upon this wierd phenomenon…
    [tribe_events view=”photo “]
    shows correctly now if…
    I also add the event list widget… :-/

    If you view dit-slagelse.dk now you will see that it works but I have 2 widget – maybe this will give you a hint to the issue? A race-condition on load?

    Thanks

    Hi Signe,

    Thanks for providing this additional information.

    Can you please also enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?

    Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    So debug is enabled.

    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);

    When I force reload the page no debug.log file is generated.

    So no errors generated?

    Hi Signe,

    Try adding the following to your wp-config.php file instead:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);

    // Don't display errors on the front end, instead...
    define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);

    // Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file
    define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);

    Let me know what you find!

    Thanks,
    Jaime

    Thanks that worked…

    When I remove the extra widget and add it again.

    Hi Signe,

    Are you adding a widget to your theme?  If you switch to a default WordPress theme, like ‘Twentyseventeen’, do you still see the same notice and issue with the widget?

    Let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
