ParticipantHi, I again 🙂 again on the Google Translater 🙂
I have the following problem. After the update, the calendar does not work anymore. It has the normal version “deleted” (it is no longer detectable in the plugins, only the Pro version) and WordPress is also a message from the normal Event Calender must first be installed. But that is not working. He can not install the plugin (it begins, but then reports that the installation was not successful). I’ve turned off all other plug-ins – even then it is not working. I guess because the data of Calenders actually still exist in the database?
What now? Help! 🙂best regards

MemberHey Tan,
Thanks for reaching out to us, hopefully Google Translator seems to be doing a good job here!
Let me clarify things a bit here. The Events Calendar PRO does not replace The Events Calendar ‘core’. They work together and both plugins need to be at the same version -3.12 is the latest- for everything to work as expected. Pre-existing data in the database shouldn’t be a problem first.
Can you share your system information with me so I can see if this issue is related to a plugin version miss-match? Take a look at this link if you are not sure what I’m referring to: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Hope we can make this right soon,
Auf Wiedersehen,

MemberHi Tan,
Thanks for following up! I think the translation is a bit wonky this time, so I’ll try to narrow this down:
1- Re-install: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
2- Make sure Events Calendar PRO is activated as well.
3- Check if both plugins version match – they both should be 3.12.x. Only the first two numbers should match (3.12).It doesn’t matter is WordPress version doesn’t match our plugins version.
Please let me know about how this goes,
Best,
