ParticipantI use Event Calendar Pro and use the slug for this so it’s not an actual page and I can’t format it. I need to know how to add spacing as the calendar is bleeding into the navigation bar and company logo. I tried adding it in settings of event calendar under above content in the HTML box but you must have a bug in the plugin because it shows the HTML on the front end. Please advise on how to accomplish this spacing that is needed.

KeymasterHi Chad,
I’m sorry you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you get it figured out.
I took a look at your site, but the calendar pages appear to be displaying correctly underneath the header – were you able to get this resolved? If not, there are a few things you can try:
- Adjusting the stylesheet and template settings under Events > Settings > Display
- Adding some custom CSS
- Editing the events page templates by following the instructions in our themer’s guide
If the content of the HTML box is not displaying correctly on the front end, can you please send me a copy of what you have there so that I can test it out on my end? If you could also share your system information with me, that would be helpful as well.
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantNo, it’s still bleeding into the header, it’s not formatted properly. And that was what I was saying about the html above content and below in the settings of the calendar. Those 2 html fields don’t work!
I would add html code to add spacing but you obviously have a bug in the calendar as the code shows up on the front end. So please for the next reply give me a solution instead of some vague information on how to fix the issue.February 14, 2018 at 1:28 pm #1453476Jennifer
KeymasterHi Chad,
I’m sorry to hear that it’s still not working. I just tested out the HTML box in my local environment, but the HTML was being applied on my end (no tags were showing up). To figure out what’s going on here, can you:
- Share your system info with me
- Send me a screenshot of what you have in the box
- Try testing for conflicts with your themeĀ and other plugins simultaneously – styling issues like this are typically related to conflicts between the theme and plugin styles. If this is the case, you may need to add some custom CSS to get the styles just right.
I really wish I could give you an instant solution, but since I am not able to recreate the issue on my end, it is going to take a little bit of troubleshooting to find the source of the issue. Thanks for your patience while we work on getting this resolved!
