Hello,
I cannot find an answer on your site so am submitting this ticket hoping you can help. My calendar URL is https://www.westmountcharter.com/index.php/events-calendar/ ; we are using the Avada theme. I just tried to add /Feed to my calendar URL. The result was immediate on the back and front end of my site. (See errors below). I am unable to get back to my menu settings to change the URL.
Warning: require_once(C:\inetpub\westmount\wp-admin): failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\inetpub\westmount\wp-settings.php on line 137
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘C:\inetpub\westmount/wp-includes/class-wp-locale-switcher.php’ (include_path=’.;C:\php\pear’) in C:\inetpub\westmount\wp-settings.php on line 137
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘WP_Locale_Switcher’ not found in C:\inetpub\westmount\wp-settings.php:418 Stack trace: #0 C:\inetpub\westmount\wp-config.php(95): require_once() #1 C:\inetpub\westmount\wp-load.php(37): require_once(‘C:\\inetpub\\west…’) #2 C:\inetpub\westmount\wp-admin\admin.php(31): require_once(‘C:\\inetpub\\west…’) #3 C:\inetpub\westmount\wp-admin\nav-menus.php(13): require_once(‘C:\\inetpub\\west…’) #4 {main} thrown in C:\inetpub\westmount\wp-settings.php on line 418
Is this an indicator that I am running out of space on my web server, and cannot make menu changes, or potentially a conflict with my theme or another plugin?
My site is now completely down and not accessible from the Admin side or the front end. Many thanks for your prompt response.

I would however, love some assistance in figuring out how to set up for RSS feeds from the calendar, without the errors. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks again,
Kat

Thanks for getting in touch with us!
We apologize for a bit of delay in getting back to you. We are dealing with a high volume of threads at the moment and we are slowly getting back to normal response times.
I have just tried and I am able to get the events feed from the following URL > https://www.westmountcharter.com/events-calendar/feed/
Did you manage to solve the issue? Please let me know.
As a reference, you can learn more about the events feeds in https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/events-rss-feed/

That is so odd because I went into the URL for the calendar link – which reads
https://www.westmountcharter.com/index.php/events-calendar/
First of all, I do not know why the index.php is in the string and there is no /feed in the link. I have removed index.php and cleared the site cache but did not add /feed.
The feed was still accessible though…??
I just readded /feed, cleared my cache and things are still working.
So….I want to be able to combine my post and events in the feed…I found instructions on your site so will try them now.
I also need to set up the feed by category…I have read that this can be done….(I have categories set up for the events calendar events and for news posts (non events). Do you have instructions for this?
Many thanks again,

Thanks for following up with this.
I am not sure where you are getting the https://www.westmountcharter.com/index.php/events-calendar/ link from your site. I’ve just navigated your homepage links and the main events URL seems to be like https://www.westmountcharter.com/events-calendar/
Could you please let me know where you are getting the index.php link from? Have you tried refreshing your permalinks and see if any difference?
Generally, the index.php being added to your site’s URL is because of some rules missing from your .htaccess file, which should be automatically added once you refresh your permalinks. As a reference, let me share the following article about Permalinks Best Practices > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/permalinks-best-practices/
The feed was still accessible though…??
Yes, I am able to see the events feed from https://www.westmountcharter.com/events-calendar/feed/
Feeds by category can be accessed by using a URL like https://www.westmountcharter.com/events-calendar/category/k-12/feed. I’ve just tested and it works good on my end.
If you are having trouble accessing those URLs on your end, try using an incognito window or even another device to see if any difference.
Hope that helps. Let me know how it goes.
