Adding Custom Item

Hello, I am looking to adding some custom information to the events calendar. I have a plugin with custom database tables, and basically, I want to simply display an entry’s title of one of those tables based on the date go that entry. Is there a way to do this via code? Such as calendar.add($title).for_date($date) or something along the lines of that?
