    hello,
I’m trying to build tickets, with options that can modify the price.

I found that I can use WooCommerce Extra Product Options and get exactly what I want via a catalog item, but fro some reason, when using the ticket via ETP or ECP I don’t get the options that should be there..

    how can I fix that?

    Hello Tom,

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums! That’s a great question.

On the event page itself the extra options will not show up. What you can do here is set up several tickets with different options and price points. I understand this can be quite cumbersome, so it might not be a good solution in some cases.

What you can also try is using the ticket’s WooCommerce page for the sale, where the WooCommerce plugins should already kick in.

Here’s what you need to be able to sell the tickets on their WooC pages:

Sell Tickets From the WooCommerce Products Page

Please let me know if this answers your question.

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

Thanks for the URL, though I’m having difficulty locating the files mentioned, has this been updated for the current versions of the event calendar pro and event tickets plus?

    Thanks!

    Hey Tom,

    Thanks for getting back.

That knowledgebase article is still valid for the current releases of your plugins.

Which files are you having trouble with? The two I saw in the article are here:

    wp-content\plugins\event-tickets-plus\src\views\wootickets\tickets.php

    wp-content\plugins\the-events-calendar\src\views\list\single-event.php

And your functions.php file you should be able to find in your Dashboard > Appearance > Edit > functions.php on the right side.

Does this help? Let me know what else you are looking for.

    Cheers,
    Andras

That was the ticket! the full path isn’t in the KB, so I wasn’t looking in the correct spot!

one last thing, and then I think we’re all set, when I create a ticket as part of an event, is there a way to automatically assign a woocommerce category to it?

    Thanks!

    Hi Tom,

Automatically assigning a WooCommerce category to a ticket can most probably be done, but it would require custom development, which is beyond our scope of support. There’s no solution for this right out of the box.

Here’s a list of developers though, who could help you out with this, in case you need it:

    All set?

    Hiya Tom,

Sure thing. If that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

Is there anything else related to this topic?

    Cheers,

Thanks for getting back to me on that.
