ParticipantIs it possible to add a promotion code for a discounted price in Woo tickets and Events Calendar? We have a limited number of tickets we’d like to sell using a promo code. Thanks for your help.

MemberHi there, Denisia!
That’s a good question and my honest answer is that I am not sure if WooCommerce coupons are compatible with tickets. Tickets themselves are registered as Products in WooCommerce, so I imagine they would be, but I have not tested it personally.
I would suggest getting WooCommerce Tickets, testing it in your development system, then using our full 30-day refund if it doesn’t do exactly what you’re looking for or integrate in the way you were hoping. We try to integrate with as many other themes and plugins as possible, but sometimes you just have to give it a run on your own system to see if it works out.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!
GeoffP.S. I’m going to move this thread from our Eventbrite forum to our WooCommerce Tickets forum so it’s easier to find. 🙂

ParticipantI have another question. I did test using the coupon function from WooCommerce and it seems to work except when I get to the payment page, there’s no button or place to complete the order. My site is http://www.msindedenentauto.com You can see what I mean if you try to register for one of the courses. Please help, I’m trying to get folks registered before the 26th!
Thank you for your help!!June 8, 2015 at 7:58 am #967834Geoff
MemberHi Denisia,
That’s awesome that the coupon codes are working!
I see what you mean on the checkout page. You can add a ticket to the cart, complete your contact information, then there is no button to process the order.
While WooCommerce Tickets does add the ability the create tickets, the actual checkout process is completely handled on the WooCommerce end of things. You can disable WooCommerce Tickets and see if the same issue comes up for other types of products, or if seems to be limited to only tickets when WooCommerce Tickets is activated. Otherwise, though, I would suggest reaching out directly to WooCommerce support to pinpoint a solution for the checkout process.
Cheers!
