Add-on proposal: Featured events.

Would it not be great to be able to place a event featured.
A user can choose when adding an event to place his event for a period featured. (paid or free, your choice)
Featured could be.. the event in a other colour, at the top of the list, at the frontpage etc…
This would be a very good add-on. Hopefully this will be availible in near future.
What do you guys think..

This is a super solid idea. I wouldn’t be surprised if other users have already found a way to hack it together – I can think of a couple sites in our Showcase thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/showcase-2-0/) that may already have what you’re going for. Have you checked that out and maybe considered reaching out to the devs behind those sites to see if they have any ideas to point you in the right direction?

If not, I suspect something like this will eventually make its way into the plugin. A vote for it over at our “Feature Requests” thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/) couldn’t hurt either…
