ParticipantHi
I’ve just installed the community plugin along side “the events calendar” and “Facebook events”. I’ve added the licens keys and configured the plugin, but the community rewrite slugs keeps returning 404 pages.
To fix the 404 headers, I’ve tried to change theme to the standard “twenty something”, disabled all other plugins and flushed the permalinks. Same result, still 404 headers.
Do you have any other ideas?

MemberGood evening Kim and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing us with some of your system information.
We are sorry to hear about the 404 headers you are experiencing.
I would love to help you with this topic.I am noticing that you are using WPML.
As much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, unfortunately, Community Events is not yet supported for WPML.Only our core (free) plugin and the Events Calendar Pro add-on have WPML support at the moment.
We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing. The good news is you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.
With that in mind, please note that we are currently working at making all of our add-ons compatible with WPML over time.
I cannot offer a date at this point, but stay tuned!Furthermore, although we cannot support it, I can tell you that some of our users have had relative success at making some of our other add-ons compatible with Events Tickets Plus.
It might be worth some tests on your end on a testing site if you are looking for an alternate workaround in the meantime.Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantHi Geoff
Thank you for mentioning the WPML issue, but since I can’t use the event calendar plugin with another “user generated event” plugin I have to get the community plugin working with at least the default language – I can’t see why that should be a problem either.
As i wrote in the original post, I’ve tried to disable all other plugins(including the WPML plugin) and switched to the default theme, but i still get 404 header on the the community URL’s.
Do you have any ideas how to fix the issue? (only on the default language)

ParticipantHi Geoff
After many hours of debugging and some luck I’ve just located the error. I’m running af localised/translated version of wordpress(danish language) and therefor the community slugs have been changed to:
add: http://dev.marielystonline.dk/begivenheder/community/tilfoej
list: http://dev.marielystonline.dk/begivenheder/community/listeThis influences all users running non-english wordpress installation. Since you are showing the URL’s in the admin interface, I think it’s a huge and very annoying bug that you should fix asap.

MemberGood evening Kim,
Thank you for writing back and for sharing your solution.
We do apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused. The good news is that has been identified by other users as a legitimate bug. This means that it will undergo the complete maintenance release cycle to get the attention it deserves.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.Furthermore, as we approach the release of some pretty exciting improvements for WPML compatibility, please note that most translated slugs are currently not playing well with WPML (view slugs, organizer, venue, etc..). So I would recommend keeping an eye out on that.
The good news is that this will soon be history.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we fix this once and for all.
You are welcome back on our support forums any time 🙂
For now, I am going to close this thread.
Have a great week!
Geoff B.
