    Hi,

    I’ve got 2 event pages. I’d like to add a different text content on the top of each page (see example attached).
    Is it possible without integrated a widget in the page?

    Hi Dominique.

    Thanks for the screenshot. Did you mean to attach a second one?

    Anyway, this plugin may help you out (or at least do most of the coding for you toward adding your own widget area for a specific view, for example).

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply but the plugin is not the solution I need.
    Actually I need to add the events in a page. I need to have the control on this page cause I have to include others elements like a custom sidebar.

    If a use the events widget, I don’t have the display I want. The events are displaying like this attached screenshot “widget-display” and I want the page display like the attached screenshot “page-display” => it’s the display I have when I created a direct page from the menu fonctionnality.

    What can I do to have the right display?

    Dominique, thanks for clarifying.

    I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: Shortcode ability for simple implimentation on any page/post

    Please do add your vote there.

    This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.

    Regardless, I expect this feature to be available soon (maybe a month or so).

    I hope this information is encouraging.

    You might also try changing your wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > “Events template” option and see if that provides you with the desired sidebar.
