Add category dropdown to search section

Hi guys

I want to add a dropdown selection at teh top of events listings in the search/filter bar section (events from, search, near etc) to show all event categories so users can view only events in that category. Possible & how please?

I work with the Pro Version, so the search bar is included. How can I add a category-dropdown to the search bar?

If you want to a category dropdown IN the search bar, this is unfortunately not a built-in feature.
The only way you could achieve this would be through some customization, either by:

1. Reading our Themer’s guide to get you started
2. Hiring one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you
