Hi there,
The company I work for built a site using The Events Calendar PRO. I was largely divorced from this process, but I do know that it used to work, however this week I got an email that the events calendar was no longer working.
I’ve looked into the problem, addressed everything in the dashboard that was out of date, then browsed the Events Calendar forums. I’ve reverted to the Twenty Thirteen theme (and Twenty Fourteen, just to be safe), disabled all other plug-ins, deactivated, reactivated, deleted, reuploaded. Regardless of what I try, whenever I try to go to ~/events, I get a 500 Internal Server Error.
Please assist.

I’m really sorry about these issues; one thing I’m curious about is what you find if you head to Settings > Perrmalinks in your site’s wp-admin. What are the permalink settings here? If you there are just “default”, try setting to something like /%postname%/.
Whether you chagne the permalinks settings here or not, click “Save Changes”.
Then try navigating to /events again – any improvements?

If issues arise again some time in the future, I’d recommend doing the steps I recommended here in my first reply; then, if those things don’t help, open up a new thread here AND a new support topic with your web hosting provider.
