ParticipantI get a 500 error when saving new events and I can’t add tickets. The error is:
[Wed May 31 19:36:34 2017] [error] [client 216.221.67.133] PHP Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to Tribe__Events__Pro__Recurrence__Series_Rules_Factory::build_from() must be of the type array, string given, called in /home/xxx/muskokanorthfood.com/html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Meta.php on line 1056 and defined in /chroot/home/muskokan/muskokanorthfood.com/html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Series_Rules_Factory.php on line 32, referer: https://muskokanorthfood.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=3378&action=edit
All of my plugins are up-to-date.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I just received a last-minute request to add a workshop series that is starting next week.
Thanks,
Craig

MemberGood evening Craig and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the error message you are receiving when saving new events.
I would love to help you with this topic.By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Hang in there!
