KeymasterHi Christoph,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear you’re getting a 404 error, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.
The first step here would be to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins (if you haven’t done so already). If you prefer not to do this on your live site, WP Staging will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Could you please send me a screenshot (or preferably a link) to the page that is giving you the error? I took a look at some of the events pages on your site, but they all seemed to be working correctly on my end. If you could also provide some more information on the circumstances when you get the error or steps that I can follow to try to reproduce it, that would be helpful too!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Christoph,
Thanks for sending the link! Can you try running through the steps in this article (sorry I meant to include that link in my original reply!) and let me know if that fixes the issue?
If you have any questions or are still getting the error after following those steps, please let me know!

ParticipantHello Team,
I decided that if the problem is not solved until wednesday
I am going to make use of the money-back guarantee.
I payed over 100$ for the events calendar and
shortcode pro. Unfortunately the plugin is not working. I tried my best to solve it.The reply-time of the support is outrageous long.
I can not imagine to have a good partnership with you.Sincerely yours,
Christoph Diebold

KeymasterHi Christoph,
I’m sorry about the delayed response, our forums have been a bit busier than usual lately (please also note that support is typically only available during weekdays). However, I think this issue likely has to do with permalink settings and potentially site caching as well.
I would recommend going under Events > Settings > General and making sure the default slugs are set for Events URL slug and Single event URL slug (see screenshot). Then, try saving the permalinks again under Settings > Permalinks, clear out the cache from within WP Super Cache, and try saving the permalinks one more time. It looks like you are currently running the All-in-One calendar form Timely as well, so it would also be a good idea to deactivate that plugin before running through these steps in case there is a conflict there.
If the above does not resolve the issue, the next step would be to try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins, if you haven’t done so already. If you do find a conflict, please let me know what is was with and send any relevant error messages/screenshots – we are limited in the amount of support we can provide for plugin conflicts, but we will take a look and see what we can recommend!
We are not able to log into user sites for security reasons (and unfortunately it looks like you may have tried to attach a screenshot earlier that didn’t come through)…If you don’t have a testing environment already, the WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your site that we can use for testing. If you set up a testing site (or have one already), please deactivate all plugins besides The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro, activate a default theme like Twenty Seventeen, and send me a link so I can do some further testing on my end.
Apologies again for the delay, but please let me know how this goes – I’d really like to help you get this resolved!
Thanks,
Jennifer
