2nd title w name of first event on calendar page

I’ve reviewed the support forums, but am not sure any of the fixes apply (or how to do it). When I view the calendar or any category of the calendar – a second title bar appears with the name of the first event on the calendar. How do I disable this? I am using Yoast and have messed with the settings there, but still no luck. Thanks

I believe the tutorial you are referring to is this one: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/calendar-page-shows-event-title/

This is likely caused by the way your theme handles titles. Since every theme is a bit different, it is hard to say without seeing the files.

Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.
