ParticipantI did my due diligence on the live site and started by disabling all plugins except for the The Events Calendar plugins. Voila, the missing calendar appeared. I actually ended up reactivating all the other plugins and the calendar still worked. So I guess it wasn’t either a theme OR a plugin conflict, but maybe just some weird caching thing that needed to be reset by disabling and then reenabling some plugins. At any rate, the problem is solved. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly and for your offer to help. Apologies for contacting you before I took all the appropriate steps.

ParticipantSigh. I activated a default theme on the live site just to test and the main events calendar displayed fine. I must be a theme conflict of some sort, perhaps related to the https issue cited above-my custom theme displays the calendar fine in the http:// staging area.

ParticipantThanks for the lead on this. To give me a boost, can you tell me where the original tribe_events_event_schedule_details()
code is located? I then can copy it and edit as needed in my customization. I see the code calls it in the single-event.php file, but I’m not sure of its location. Thanks,
Eric

ParticipantI’m not seeing “tribe_get_start_date()” listed on your page of functions:
https://theeventscalendar.com/functions/The closest thing is “sp_get_start_date” but that’s marked as deprecated. Am I looking for more info on this function in the right place?

ParticipantThanks for the lead on this-I think your right on adding php to the slider-I could do it but it would require doing some other custom workaround to create a custom variable that I could drop in. This all may be a bit of a stretch for my limited php skills. I may have to find a clunkier work-around or commission someone to do it for me.

ParticipantAfter doing some more looking at these particular events that keep getting over-written, I found that all the events that were getting over-written contained WooCommerce product shortcode.
New events where tickets were set up using the WooTickets seem to be unaffected by the bug.
