Thanks, you’ve already done more than I would have expected. I tried to upload the php file using the upload below but I get an error message (‘you can’t upload files of this type’).

Happy for you to close this if it’s going beyond what help desk can reasonably do.

I tried both approaches (functionality plugin and functions.php) but couldn’t get either to achieve what I want.

By doing the former, I got the code appearing at the top of the web page itself. By doing the latter, there was no apparent effect.

Thanks again for your help. I guess the extension as it is will have to do.

Thanks Cliff, I really appreciate the code. But I didn’t know where to add it. I tried adding it to my theme’s function php and tribe-events -> pro -> photo -> single-event php without any luck.

Thanks Jennifer! Seems to have sorted itself out.

There seems to be a conflict with the Firefox extension NoScripts. Once I disabled it, photoview and filter bar are back to normal.

Update:

I use Chrome, which seems to load the last used setting (i.e. If I close the browser with the filter bar showing, then it will show the next time I open the browser and load the page. If I close the browser with the filter bar collapsed, then it will appear collapsed the next time I open the browser and load the page.)

Under events settings – access control, I enabled ‘subscriber’, which fixed the issue.

I’ve resolved the issue. In the additional field ‘Artist’, I had an entry ‘[Last name], [First name]. Once I removed the comma, I was able to select and filter by artist successfully.

Didn’t seem to work for me. I can create a custom field but the issue with
that for me is it doesn’t get picked up when I use beaver builders post
module.
