ParticipantI am using the Architect theme. I tried what dchaney did but it did not work. Where can I place that code…in which css file? I tried it in the Architect theme stylesheet but it did not work. Please help.
For now I limited the upcoming events list to display one event.
My client’s page is http://hudsonpride.orgAugust 11, 2013 at 6:59 am in reply to: Recurring events show up more than once in the backend #59878Susan Goodman
ParticipantSame here. I tried checking “Recurring event instances/Show only the first instance of each recurring event” in the general settings, but it did not change anything.

ParticipantHi Reid,
I added it to the sites’s css file. I didn’t think placement would matter…if it does, please let me know. I truly appreciate your help.

ParticipantHi Reid,
If there was a problem it must be ok now. I was able to access the site.

ParticipantReid,
I’m afraid it did not work. I am not using “advanced” list widget. Could that be the reason?Sue

ParticipantI finally found the css code to add the bullets (line 1190), but there is still a blank line between the events listed.

ParticipantBarry,
That did the trick!! Thanks so much!!!

ParticipantJonah,
I actually fixed the problem after viewing another post:
The month view hover was blocking the links…I fixed it using the instructions on that post.
ThanksSusan Goodman
ParticipantDaniel,
I hate to be a pain. Now that I got rid of the blank lines, the list is indented. I tried adding margin-left:0 and padding-left:0 but it did not help. I also removed the ol from the new code and that did not help either.
Here is what is in the styles.php
#homebottomright {
border: 4px solid #ccc;
float: left;
width: 260px;
height: 190px;
margin: 10px 0px 15px 0px;
padding: 15px 15px 0px 15px;
display: inline;
}
#homebottomright ul, #homebottomright li {
list-style-type: none;
}
#homebottomright ol li h4{
display:inline;
}
#homebottomright ol li div.duration{
display:inline;
}Appreciate your help!!!

ParticipantThanks Daniel…it works fine now.
What about the problem with the Event List widget leaving blank lines between the event title and the date?Susan Goodman
ParticipantI have the same problem. The hover covers the links. I just upgraded again to calendar 3.0.1 and pro 3.0.2

Also, the Events list on the home page is placing blank lines between the title and time.Susan Goodman
ParticipantI just upgraded to Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro 3.x
I am having the same problem. In the Month view of the calendar, the link for a specific day takes me to the error page. In list mode, each event link works.
