We had the same issue happen today while a new member admin was editing a ticket’s quantity. His membership discount rule kicked in an overwrote the price by a lot. He’s now fully aware of this dangerous bug, but it’s such an unnoticeable thing that’s counter-intuitive to consciously work around. Often times admins require memberships to test that the discounts are working. On the human/member-relations side, it’s challenging to explain to a future attendee that there was a mistake and that they need to reprocess their transaction and pay a lot more. If you let the mistake go, then there’s jealousy between members who ‘got lucky’ and paid a lot less. Overall, the plugins have been a wonderful improvement.
