ParticipantThanks again for your help and support Brook, I started diving into disabling scripts and whatnot but ultimately found a solution with an alternative plugin. Cheers!

ParticipantThanks for looking into this Brook, it is greatly appreciated. I will certainly bring it the Theme devs attention, I’m a little less optimistic that they will be willing to assist me with a fix but we will see. I think I could figure out disabling the theme scripts one by one, but it would be me hacking around at best, definitely a bit outside of my skillset.
As far as questions, I would ask what you think might be the best alternative plugin out there. I would also like to know how I will be able to get a refund, assuming that I am never able to get the calendar to work.
Finally, do you think having a separate wordpress install in a sub folder, running a compatible theme (solely devoted to the event calendar) is a reasonable workaround?
thank you again for your time on this

ParticipantHi there, thanks for the quick response. I did some digging and it seems other people have run into conflicts when using this theme (Divi by Elegant Themes), so clearly it’s the theme as it works in 2014 obviously. They even featured your plugin in a blog post about the best calendar plugins (the comments is where I found other people with conflicts) It’s too bad, I have used The Events Calendar Pro on other sites and used this theme a lot as well and enjoy both.
I did enable the debug mode in the wp-config. Everything else seems to be working exactly as I would need it so I’m hopeful there may be some way to find a solution to this conflict
