Dear Barry,
I’m afraid my last message didn’t come across the way it was supposed to in fact, I respect and use everyday the Genesis framework therefore, I didn’t doubt even for a second the fact that “the problem is not the Genesis framework itself”, and never suggested it was.

What I said instead was that the Child Theme is the issue here so thanks so much for advising a possible route to take. It looks like a long and painful one though.

I will have to take some time before getting back to you with the results I got from testing.
In the meanwhile, please, if anything else comes to mind do let me know.

Hi Barry! Thanks for getting back with such a thorough and specific answer.
I did create the test site and yes it did work with a different theme, I also switched back on all plugins and still, all good.
So.. The issue IS the actual theme.
Now..
That specific theme is basically a huge Pain .. … ..tt I inherited from the previous “developer” and we are supposed to use it for a while until I finish the new website I am designing for the client.

QUESTION:
Is there any magic PHP snippet that I can (just) integrate with this “Custom” Genesis Child theme to sort it out in the meantime. I’d really appreciate any further assistance as this is driving me nuts…?
